In May 2014, I sat in Sheila's lounge room with Sheila and Christine to talk about an African adventure. Eighteen months later Sheila and Christine landed at Nairobi's airport, looking quite fresh after the 22-hour flight. Their safari began in the magical Maasai Mara. From the Maasai Mara we went to Lake Naivasha for two nights. Our third destination in Kenya was Samburu where Francis and I donated hoops and balls to Umoja Primary School from funds raised at Fingal Primary School in rural New South Wales, Australia. At our fundraising event in Melbourne earlier this year, Sheila had signed up to sponsor a Kenyan student and final stop was to visit him. From Kenya, they flew to Victoria Falls and then joined a camping safari through Botswana, travelling to Savute, Moremi Game Reserve and the Okavango Delta.
